Product Description

The prefabricated, non‑removable‑formwork steel truss floor deck is a new type of steel truss floor deck assembled by connecting steel trusses to the bottom formwork using specialized connectors or embedded components. Produced through industrialized methods, this non‑removable‑formwork floor deck is widely applicable to residential and public buildings. It eliminates the need for formwork removal, requires minimal or no shoring, delivers excellent surface flatness, enhances construction efficiency, and obviates the need for plastering—advantages that align with the policies and development trends of prefabricated construction.

The bottom panel is made of inorganic materials and utilizes a composite fiber-cement board with a thickness of 12–20 mm. It possesses sufficient strength to prevent brittle cracking during transportation, installation, and concrete pouring. The finished bottom formwork meets standardized dimensions, enabling tight, seamless jointing of floor slabs.

   Product Advantages

Lightweight: Only about 20 kg/m², facilitating transportation and on-site lifting, making installation more convenient and reducing transport and hoisting costs.

Reduce slab thickness: With this product, the minimum slab thickness is 100 mm (excluding the bottom formwork), which, compared with conventional composite slabs, reduces the actual concrete volume, lowers structural loads, and decreases the reinforcement ratios of beams, columns, and walls, thereby further optimizing costs.

Suitable for water‑exposed areas: The product offers impermeability and fire resistance; when applied as a continuous layer and cast in place, it provides excellent monolithic integrity, meeting both building waterproofing requirements and Class A fire‑resistance standards.

Industrialized production: High product‑manufacturing efficiency, fully automated assembly, with a daily capacity of up to 5,000 m²; uses precast panels on bottom molds, eliminating the need for prior curing.

Reduced support: As designed, it enables reduced shoring during construction and eliminates the need for the small joists commonly used in conventional floor‑slab construction.

Tight‑joint capability: Conventional composite slabs cannot achieve tight joints, whereas tight‑joint composite slabs require joint‑splicing reinforcement. In contrast, the tight‑joint seams of this product do not necessitate any specialized joint‑splicing reinforcement.

High flexibility: This product can be manufactured entirely on an automated production line at the factory, or it can be produced on a semi‑automated line directly at the construction site, enabling timely responses to unexpected design changes and a wide range of custom‑specification panel designs.

Low overall cost: Easy to construct, with a significant boost in construction efficiency, it effectively reduces formwork and shoring costs, shortens the project schedule, and delivers lower total costs compared with other prefabricated floor slabs.
